[premiere]WES PEDEN • ASTROMORPH
- CirkusMania / Kulturhuset Stadsteatern, Stokcholm, Sweden Kulturhuset Stadsteatern (map)
Pulp geometry from Throwtopia
Currently in the early research and exploration phase, Wes Peden’s new work is a celebration of shapes, speed, proportions, weight, friction, and the calm moment of suspension at the apex of its upward journey when a ball freezes mid-air.
Following the high-speed, theme park-inspired world of Rollercoaster (2021), Astromorph shifts toward a more surreal, geometry-kaleidoscopic world of intricate, rich, and progressive manipulation.
